The special envoy of the European Union (EU) for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajçak, will be on an official visit to Kosovo on Thursday (today).
In the meeting that is expected to start from 16:00, he will be with Prime Minister Albin Kurti, where the Roadmap for the implementation of the European Plan is expected to be discussed.
Before the meeting with Kurti, Lajçak will also meet with the president of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani at 14:10.
After Pristina, Lajcak is expected to visit Belgrade as well.
This is his first visit to Kosovo and Serbia, since the February 27 meeting between the Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti and the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić, which was held in Brussels.

After that meeting, the prime minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, said that he was ready to sign the agreement on the European proposal, but, according to him, the Serbian side refused. And the president of Serbia, Vucic, has declared that nothing has been achieved, since Kurti has rejected the Association. However, for EU officials, the meeting was successful.
The Head of Foreign Policy of the European Union, Josep Borrell, said that the two leaders have agreed that there is no longer a need for discussions on the EU's proposal and that they have expressed their willingness to continue with the implementation of the agreement after discussions on the modalities of its provisions. The next meeting between Kurt and Vucic is expected to be held on March 18 in North Macedonia.
