The office of the EU's special representative for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajçak, has only continued to answer that he "will visit the region in the coming days", without specifying where he will go and that "the program of the visit has not yet been has been finalized", writes KOHA.
"Koha Ditore" learns from its sources that Lajçak will come to Pristina possibly on Monday, while due to travel restrictions, which are still in force, he is expected to make the visit by flying to Tirana and then from there by car to Pristina. He will have to stay in Kosovo until Thursday, and he will use this time for meetings with "partners" in Kosovo in preparation for the resumption of the dialogue.
It is unofficially known that he will meet with Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti, but it remains unclear if he will also manage to meet with President Hashim Thaçi, who has continued to refuse meetings with Lajlak, recalling that the former Foreign Minister of Slovakia has was an opponent of Kosovo's independence.
Such an attitude of Thaçi has angered some diplomats in the EU, who say that "they do not know the reason why Thaçi behaves in this way", but "they hope that he will also cooperate with Lajcak, who has the support of the states main of the EU".
