The Parliament of Albania has ratified the protocol for the admission of North Macedonia to NATO.
The draft law "for the ratification of the Protocol of the North Atlantic Treaty for the accession of the Republic of North Macedonia" was approved with 130 votes in favor, none against and no abstentions.
During the session for the ratification of the protocol, the speaker of the Assembly of North Macedonia, Talat Xhaferi, was also present, writes Tch.
"First of all, I want to assure you that these situations are not the first. All challenges have passed. Purpose is what happened beforehand. I turn to you on behalf of myself and the deputies in North Macedonia to express my gratitude for trusting us and supporting us. I am a witness of true friendship. The relations between the two countries are connected by the strong bonds of friendship but also in the field of political and cultural cooperation. We are committed to building a society for all without ethnic or social differences. Our aim is to create a democratic state, that's why we work with dedication", said Xhaferri.
