The Assembly of Kosovo has sent a notice with the agenda for the constitutive session which will be held tomorrow at 10:00.
The announcement from the Directorate for Media and Public Relations states that initially, in this session, a temporary committee will be formed to verify the quorum and mandates of deputies.
After this, the elected deputies will take the oath, then the Speaker of the Assembly will be elected, and the last point is the election of the Deputy Speakers. For this issue, a simple majority in the Assembly is sufficient.
With the constitution of the Assembly, the 60-day deadline for electing the president begins, which is where the biggest impasse between the parties lies.
The 15-day deadline for voting on the government in the Assembly begins after the acting president mandates the name proposed by the majority.

The Vetëvendosje Movement and the Democratic League of Kosovo have not yet reached an agreement on the formation of institutions.
Tuesday’s three-hour meeting between the leader of the LVV, Albin Kurti, and the leader of the LDK, Lumir Abdixhiku, did not result in a party agreement on the formation of institutions. However, both leaders left open the possibility of discussing the future. Kurti said he is interested in cooperating with the LDK “for accelerated progress,” while Abdixhiku said the LDK aims for “institutional balance” where one party does not hold all the positions.
