Kusari-Lila: We will address the Constitutional Court regarding the non-voting of opposition MPs

Vetëvendosje Movement MP Mimoza Kusari-Lila has stated that they will seek a new interpretation from the Constitutional Court regarding the non-participation in the vote of opposition MPs. 

According to her, the previous interpretation of the Constitutional Court has brought more ambiguity than clarity to the current parliamentary situation.

She emphasized that voting in the Assembly is an obligation and the lack of participation by the opposition constitutes a violation that must be addressed.

"We do not have the same reading of the Constitutional Court's judgment, it is clear that such an interpretation has not clarified but complicated the circumstances, while the third goal is more than necessary for the court to address the current situation in the non-participation in the vote by opposition parties. Voting in the session is an obligation, we are preparing to address the court for the non-voting of opposition MPs for non-participation in the vote", she emphasized./EO
