Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti has announced changes to the cabinet of the "Kurti 3" government in relation to the names he presented to the Assembly when he sought a vote months ago.
"There will be many of the names that Glauk Konjufca and I have already introduced in the fall of last year, but they will not be identical. There will be other names as well," he said in a statement to the media after the inauguration of investments in energy efficiency at the "Isa Boletini" high school of economics in Podujeva.
New names were included in Kurti's list of nominees, while those of Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi, Acting Minister of Trade and Industry, Rozeta Hajdari, Minister of Local Government, Elbert Krasniqi, and Minister of Education, Arbërie Nagavci, were left out.
For the position of Minister of Infrastructure, Kurti had proposed the Speaker of the Parliament, Dimal Basha.

He had entrusted the task of leading the new ministry, that of Family and Social Welfare, to Andin Hoti. And for that of Culture and Tourism, he had proposed actor Fatmir Spahiu.
Kurti had nominated Fitore Pacolli, who did not hold a ministerial position in the Kurti 2 Government, as Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning.
The current Minister of Foreign Affairs, Donika Gërvalla, had been proposed to take over the Ministry of Justice, which was previously led by Albulena Haxhiu.

In this statement, Kurti further said that the Assembly should be formed as soon as possible and international agreements for hundreds of millions of euros of benefits for Kosovo should be approved. He also recalled the necessity for the budget to be approved as soon as possible.
In the last elections, on December 28, Kurti's Vetevendosje Movement received more than 50 percent of the vote. These votes are enough for him to form a government in cooperation with only minorities.
