Letter to the Reader — Why We're Asking for Your Support ContributeStressing that its approval in second reading is also necessary, Kurti said that the Draft Law has upset many.
Therefore, according to him, the opposition has been great.
"We know that the name of the law has disturbed many, therefore the objections have been great, even wrapped up as complaints to the Constitutional Court, they continue to be great, but we cannot and will not stop, we will implement this commitment, the bureau will be established, the slogan 'small salary, big profit' will end," Kurti said.
"Illegally acquired wealth is neither private nor legitimate, because it was never acquired," Kurti added.
The draft law on the State Bureau for Verification and Confiscation of Unjustified Assets was approved in principle last Friday. 81 deputies voted in favor of it, but there were reservations about its content. His comments were given by the deputies of PDK, LDK and AAK.
At the Government meeting, Kurti also spoke about the work of security bodies in the north of the country, adding that Serbia has not given up on destabilizing efforts.
"Unfortunately, our northern neighbor has not withdrawn from destabilizing efforts, but fortunately, the vigilant presence of the state in every corner of the republic is bringing results in the battle to eradicate all terrorist cells and their weapons. We salute the security agencies that found and confiscated significant amounts of weapons in various locations in the north. We also welcome the arrest of Stefan Radulović in connection with the terrorist attack in Banjska. This is a step forward, justice is complete when Milan Radojić and his group are brought to justice in Kosovo," he said.
