The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, in a meeting he had on Thursday afternoon with the Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement, Oliver Varhelyi, requested that the member states of the Council of the European Union decide as soon as possible on the liberalization of visas for Kosovo.
According to the announcement by the Prime Minister, Kurti said that the Government he leads is dedicated and committed to reforms.
"He thanked the Commission for the work it is doing to convince skeptical member countries to support a positive decision in the Council. Prime Minister Kurti said that the states of the Western Balkans should be treated as future members of the European Union", the announcement states.
