Prime Minister Albin Kurti has said that they are aware that the situation of the minority communities in Kosovo is not good.
In his speech held at the first regional Summit for protection from racial discrimination, he said that there are many challenges for improving their situation.
"There are still many challenges, the situation of the communities is not good both from the aspect of discrimination as well as from the aspect of poverty and lack of opportunities in the socio-economic aspect", said Kurti.
According to him, a significant part of discrimination occurs and is repeated, because it is not announced or reported. Kurti has called for cases of discrimination to be reported on the digital platform for protection against discrimination, for the Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities.
"We can measure the development progress of our societies not by how those who have the most live, because we know that those who have make a difference to themselves easily and quickly, but by those who have the least. Therefore, as the prime minister of all citizens, regardless of ethnicity, religion and background, I am committed to everyone equally, but mostly and first of all to those who need it the most", Kurti emphasized.

He said that they will continue the work to improve the living conditions of the communities.
"Citizens' equality is guaranteed in the Republic of Kosovo", said Kurti.
