Kurti for the five: It is vital that those who did not know who Serbia is, understand now

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has said that tomorrow they will understand what the European and American representatives, who will visit Kosovo, will ask for and what they will offer.

"We will find out tomorrow what they will ask for and what they will offer. I can say that we cannot have normalization without security. The security of Kosovo should be a priority for the state institutions, the people and the society. For this we work day and night with everything we can and know", said Kurti in a statement after the ceremony of laying the foundation stone of the nursery in the village of Godanc in Shtime.

But according to him, it is vital for Kosovo, democracy and the region, that those who did not know who Serbia is, understand now.

"It is vital for Kosovo, for democracy, but I would also say for the Balkan region in general that those who have not known or understood who is official Serbia and Belgrade should finally do so because it is not Kosovo that is there should be punitive measures, but it is Serbia that should be sanctioned", said Kurti.

He also spoke about the dialogue process.

"As for the dialogue in Brussels, we have an agreement from there, but again, because of Serbia, it has not been implemented. We have always been constructive, committed, creative and there is absolutely no fault or responsibility on our side because Kosovo and Serbia do not have normal relations. The basic agreement of Brussels from February 27 is centered on de-facto mutual recognition and the sooner it is implemented, we will not only have democratic and European normality, but also security for our country and for the region", Kurti emphasized.

He also spoke about Serbia's actions to destabilize Kosovo. "In December last year, we had 16 barricades in the north for three weeks. On May 29 of this year, we had an attack on the police, on KFOR soldiers and on you journalists in the north. On June 14, we had the kidnapping of three of our policemen in Leposaviq. Finally, on September 24, we had a terrorist attack from which the police sergeant Afrim Bunjaku was killed", said Kurti.
