On Tuesday, Prime Minister Albin Kurti met in Pristina with the president of the Defense Industry Agency of Turkey, Haluk Gorgun, with whom he discussed the possibility of cooperation in the development of the defense industry, namely the production of ammunition.
In the meeting, Kurti was accompanied by the Minister of Defense, Ejup Macedonci, while the ambassador of Turkey in Kosovo, Sabri Tunç Angılı, was also in the meeting.
"Initially, Prime Minister Kurti expressed his gratitude for the cooperation in the field of defense, especially in terms of increasing the capacities of the Kosovo Security Force. He said that the Republic of Kosovo will continue the purchase of military equipment from Turkey, which remains one of Kosovo's main partners. The meeting also discussed the possibilities of cooperation in the development of the defense industry, namely that of ammunition production, and about the conditions that our country offers to potential investors from Turkey", says the Prime Minister's announcement.
