Expats, who are spending their holidays these days in Kosovo, often have their remarks regarding the treatment they receive in Kosovo. Meanwhile, the intellectual layer of the diaspora makes it more concrete, when it says that they do not have the support of Kosovo's institutions for the concerns they may have.
The lack of this support was also confirmed by the president of the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Kosovo, academician Nexhat Daci, who says that emigrants should demand more from the institutions of Kosovo.
During a reception given to a delegation of the Association of Albanian Writers and Artists "Papa Klemneti XI Albani" operating in Sweden, Academician Daci said that Albanians in exile should exert more pressure to demand the treatment they deserve.
"Emigration has never received the treatment it deserved from the institutions of Kosovo. This should be a sign that you should put even more pressure, pressure always in a positive sense, I say, with the arrival of the emigrant in his homeland. With the change of generations, you and I change, and the worst thing is that in exile, more and more children speak the language of the country where they live. This is not the fault of children and mothers, but associations like yours must do their best to preserve the roots of the nation", said academician Daci.
On this occasion, Daci mentioned the example of Croatia and its emigration, how it has influenced the construction and formation of the Croatian state. While the Albanian diaspora, he said, has greatly helped Kosovo and its people to stay in difficult times.
also Open letter to the president of the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Kosovo"The worshipers of Kosovo from exile have been a salvation, don't depend on the enemy for bread. Mergata has made a very big contribution to keep Albanians stoic where they are, to protect themselves, children. And they are a unique case. For this reason, this meeting is happening, because I do not hold meetings outside of science, but when it comes to the issue of our population, I do not look too much at the rules", said Daci, expressing hospitality to the members of the Association of Albanian Writers and Artists "Papa Klemneti XI Albani" operating in Sweden.
Meanwhile, the chairman of this association, Hysen Ibrahimi, informed Daci about the work they do in the association, about the creations of this year and about the work that has been done so far.
