The former deputy of the Social Democratic Party of Kosovo, Frashër Krasniqi, has said that the Vetëvendosje Movement is using the case of Astri Dehari for its political purposes.
He said in KTV Interactive that the new development in this case was the new expert report from the Swiss Institute, but that according to him, the same report continues to be misused in the political aspect.
"If they were serious about clarifying this case, then there would be no room for political abuse. There have been bad developments, especially for those of us who have him as a friend and for all citizens. The injustice of keeping Astrit has been confirmed even with our release", he said.
Krasniqi has added that this case is being misused even now as it was misused by previous politicians, adding that this is being done for daily politics.
Krasniqi says that he is waiting for a final objective decision of the responsible institutions of justice.

Krasniqi says that he did not know anyone in Dehar's cell.
"In 2016, the then government mounted a political case that put 6 innocent people in prison. That government kept Astriti in prison without any evidence and he died in prison. Here is the first point that the government must take responsibility. "Regardless of whether he was killed or what happened there, he was held innocent," he said.
According to him, in Astri's case, he does not have the right to speak without having a report or investigations that adequately respond to this case.
Krasniqi says that when there were accusations from the PDK that they had a hand in the "suicide" of Astri Dehari, he says that they had expected this, but that for him it is more disturbing when the arguments of the previous government are being used by this one. the future.
