VV's Krasniqi after the case in Croatia: Serbian List should be banned from registration

CEC meeting

Alban Krasniqi, a member of the Vetëvendosje Movement in the Central Election Commission, has said that the Serbian List should be banned from registering as a political entity, after Croatian authorities arrested a Croatian KFOR pilot and his Serbian girlfriend from Kosovo on suspicion of spying on KFOR plans for the Serbian List and organizations linked to crime in the north.

A day ago, the Croatian media reported that Croatian authorities had questioned a Croatian KFOR pilot and his Kosovo Serb girlfriend, under suspicion that he had provided her with information on KFOR movements over the years, which she had passed on to the Serbian List. On Thursday, they were remanded in custody. Meanwhile, new reports revealed the couple's links to the "Northern Brigade" organization, which has been declared a terrorist organization in Kosovo.

Vetëvendosje days ago initiated the refusal to certify the list of candidates of the Serbian List for the local elections of October 12, because its members operate within the framework of parallel Serbian structures in Kosovo. But the Electoral Complaints and Submissions Panel ordered the CEC to certify it, after the Registration Office found that there were no violations of the criteria by the candidates.

“Now we can no longer talk only about the non-certification of the Serbian List, but about the implementation of Article 14 of the Law on General Elections, the PROHIBITION OF its REGISTRATION as a necessary measure for it to ensure public order, public health, national security, the prevention of disorders, violence and crime, or the protection of the rights of others,” Krasniqi wrote on Facebook. “There is indisputable evidence that has been submitted by security and intelligence bodies, which is increasing every day, that the LS, with financing and support from Belgrade, but also by using funds from the democratization fund of political parties, has organized and coordinated all criminal activity, espionage, the organization of illegal and terrorist structures, serving as an extended hand of the Vučić regime and Belgrade, also using methods of hybrid warfare against the constitutional order of the Republic of Kosovo with the aim of dividing Kosovo.”

Krasniqi said that "the Prosecutor's Office, the Judiciary, the Presidency, the Parliament and other institutions, including the CEC, must immediately take action, each according to their responsibilities."
