The Central Election Commission made a decision on the certification of the List of Voters inside and outside Kosovo for the process of the Elections for the Assembly of Kosovo, which will be held on February 9, 2025.
According to this list of voters, the number of citizens with the right to vote for these elections is 2 million 75 thousand 868 voters.
According to CEC data, the number of citizens with the right to vote at polling stations in the Republic of Kosovo is 1 million 970 thousand 944 voters, while the number of citizens who are registered to vote outside Kosovo is 104 thousand of 924.
Arianit Elshani, leader of the council for election operations, said that the number of voters is 999 voters in rural areas, while for urban areas it continues to be 950.
"Each voter can vote for about 10 candidates, that's why we don't want to exceed the number of 1 voters," said Elshani.

There is no physical voting in Tirana and Podgorica, only 8 voters were registered
The voting process will not be organized in the diplomatic missions located in Podgorica and Tirana because the number of citizens registered for physical voting in them is very small, the Central Election Commission has announced.
According to CEC data, only 8 voters were registered to vote at the diplomatic mission in Podgorica and the same number in Tirana.

"The CEC will inform all registered voters that they will be able to vote by mail," announced the CEC.
On August 29, 2024, the CEC approved the list of 35 Voting Centers with a total of 47 polling stations planned for voting in 19 Embassies and 16 Consulates of the Republic of Kosovo that are located in 22 different countries. According to the latest decision of the CEC, the voting process will take place in 17 Embassies and 15 Consulates of the Republic of Kosovo, located in 19 different countries of the world.
