The former head of the KOSTT company, Fadil Ismajli, in the Parliamentary Investigative Commission regarding the decision-making process in the energy sector for the period 2006-2022, was asked about the import of 55 million euros of energy from the company IFT Grup of Vuk Vukamović, and 20 million other from the Roadnap Group of the Government of Serbia.
Member of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Armen Muja, member of the Commission, asked Ismajli about this import.
Ismajli said that KOSTT does not have the competence to import electricity. However, he announced that in the period 2006-2008, Kosovo mostly imported energy from IFT Group from Serbia.
According to him, based on communications with KEK, he was told that this company was the cheapest bidder.
"IFT, we know who is behind it, I know that the offers in KEK have always been the most favorable. The question arises why? There are companies that have offered, but IFT has always been the cheapest, because it has misused Bosnia's hydropower plants that are part of the Republika Srpska, and being hydropower plants, they can offer you modular energy whenever you need it," he said. he.

Deputy Muja said that during this period, Kosovo had imported 118 million euros of electricity.
"Among our partners, we imported electricity from 118 million euros, 55 million from IFT Group from Vuk Vukamović, 20 million euros from Roadnap Group of the Government of Serbia, 2 million euros from IPIES and 2.6 million euros from GENI -DOO Belgrade", said Muja.
After the interest of the deputies, he presented the role of KOSTT in energy trading, for which he said that the same is not within the competence of KOSTT, but in the capacity of the market operator it only determines the rules of the parties on how to behave in shop.

The other LVV deputy, Mefail Bajqinovci, asked the former head of KOSTT if he was the owner of the company Contel, which according to him won the tender in KOSTT.
"Mr. Ismajli, you were the owner of the Contel company, I am talking about the years 2006-2008. Did you win the tender even though the property is transferred to your friend Vegim Gashi? Has this company won tenders for the year 2006-2008 in KOSTT", he asked.
However, Ismajli said that he was a partner in the Contel company only before the war in Kosovo. After, according to him, in the period of 2000, he continued to contribute to KEK.

However, he confirmed that this company has won the tender in KOSTT, but in partnership with another company which has been the carrier of the project.
"It is true that for a period before the war, I was a partner in the Contel company for a short time. But the way you said it sounds different, I was pre-war. After the war I was no longer there and everyone went their separate ways, I returned to KEK in the parent company, where I was from 1983-1990.
