Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti began meetings for the new government on Wednesday. In addition to meeting with the leader of the New Democratic Party, Emilija Rexhepi, and the leader of the Party for Freedom, Justice and Survival, Nenad Rashiq, he later met with the leader of the New Democratic Initiative party, Elbert Krasniqi.
On Wednesday evening, the Prime Minister's Office announced the final meeting with Krasniqi.
"This meeting was part of the consultations being held by the Prime Minister with minority political parties. Also present at the meeting was MP and member of the IRDK party, Fridon Lala," the announcement states.
Elbert Krasniqi is the acting Minister of Local Government Administration.
According to the announcement, Krasniqi has given support to Kurti for a new mandate.
Kurti has been criticized for holding discussions in the Prime Minister's Office and not in the party he represents or in a neutral location.
