The Democratic Party of Kosovo has remained in the positions it had before the last extraordinary elections, and the Democratic League of Kosovo has changed, said today the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Glauk Konjufca. According to him, the position and will shown by the LDK gives hope for overcoming the political crisis in which the country has entered.
Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and Vice President of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Glauk Konjufca, says that what all parties have in common is the desire not to go to early elections again.
Konjufca, on Monday after meeting with the French Minister for Europe, Benjamin Haddad, also spoke about the meetings that the acting Prime Minister and VV leader, Albin Kurti, has held with the leaders of the two largest opposition parties so far, PDK and LDK.
According to Konjufca, he has not seen a change in PDK's stance regarding potential cooperation for the formation of institutions.
"Regarding the meetings that took place with PDK and LDK, it was clear that PDK continues to stand by the positions that we have seen before. Those are old positions and those positions were also expressed in the meeting with Prime Minister Kurti," Konjufca said.
And in the LDK, according to him, there is now a visible willingness to overcome the institutional crisis.

"As for the Democratic League of Kosovo, our impression is that, unlike in the past, this time there is a greater will to overcome this moment in which Kosovo is located. There is a higher willingness for cooperation from the Democratic League of Kosovo and I think that the options that come to the table for reaching an agreement are in proportion to the will," Konjufca said.
Discussions about possible cooperation have also been confirmed by the LDK leader, Lumir Abdixhiku, but according to him, they were interrupted when party delegates collected signatures to call for the party's Assembly to dismiss him.
Konjufca did not want to comment on the internal developments of the LDK, and during the conference he also spoke about the Special Court.
He has called on this court based in The Hague not to make a political decision regarding Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi.

The Special Chamber will announce the first instance verdict on September 16.
