Konjufca: If dialogue has the price of destroying Kosovo, it is good to say goodbye

The Speaker of the Assembly, Glauk Konjufca, has said that Kosovo has started and remains in dialogue based on two principles, that dialogue is for mutual recognition and that any regulation for the rights of Serbs is within the framework of the Constitution of Kosovo.

He said that any unconstitutional position cannot be the basis for negotiations, while he spoke about the draft presented by the Management Team for the Association of municipalities with a Serbian majority.

"If this process has the price of destroying Kosovo, undermining the foundations of our state, then it is good to say goodbye, that there is no interest here. Normalization comes because we move towards mutual recognition, normalization does not come by destroying the state of Kosovo with a Serbian republic".

Konjufca: Rakiqi violated the oath of the deputy of the Assembly of Kosovo with the election of the Management Team

Speaker Konjufca has stated that Goran Rakiq violated the oath of the deputy when he chose the members of the Management Team for drafting the Association. This is because, as he said, the draft was for the creation of a Serbian republic within the country, and as such violates the principle of the deputy of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo in favor of the interests of the country.

He emphasized that the statute was what the Serbian president requested, and not what would respond to Kosovo's interests.

"Unfortunately, Kosovo has inherited a decision-making of past governments regarding this dialogue framework, which is the appointment of management team members by a deputy prime minister who answers only to Vucic, who is Rakic. Rakiq has selected the team members. He has taken care that these members are accountable to Serbia and this is a violation of the Constitution of Kosovo, our laws, even a violation of the deputy's oath. When we take the oath in this institution where we are, we swear that we will only serve the interests of the Republic of Kosovo and its constitutionality. Anyone who violates the oath and does actions that are contrary to this oath, the Government of Kosovo has no obligations to their actions. If you read the statute, this statute that was presented was correct according to Vucic's order, because it was an order to create a Serbian republic within Kosovo and this is unconstitutional. Any unconstitutional position cannot be a basis for negotiations", added Konjufca.

Konjufca responds to Lajçak: The starting point for the Association must be within the Constitution of Kosovo

The starting point for the future discussions between Kosovo and Serbia should be within the Constitution of Kosovo, said Speaker Glauk Konjufca, in response to the statement of the EU emissary, Miroslav Lajçak, that the draft of the Management Team is the starting point for further discussions about the Association. , although for Lajçak it is not the final draft.

Konjufca has said that Kosovo has no interest in dialogue with Serbia, if the internationals do not consider the solution within the Constitution of Kosovo.

"The starting point should be within the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo, I think that if the important international factors, if the EU does not think that the solution should be within the Constitution of Kosovo, I think that Kosovo has nothing to ask for in that dialogue anymore. "Kosovo no longer has any interest, what is our interest in destroying our constitutionality, it will harm us if it goes like that", he said.
