The acting president, Glauk Konjufca, has sent a letter to the leader of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, for this subject to propose the candidate for prime minister.
Referring to the binding provisions and the announcement of the CEC, Konjufca emphasized in the letter that the VV has won the necessary majority in the Assembly to create the new Government.
"Taking into account the aforementioned provisions of the Constitution of the country, as well as the announcement of the CEC, and taking into account that the Vetëvendosje Movement has the right to propose the candidate for the formation of the Government after the February 14 elections, as the President of the country "I request you to propose the name of the representative for the prime minister. Please accept my deepest consideration," the letter reads.
