Based on the recommendation of the Municipal Assembly of the Municipality of Vushtrri, issued on December 27, 2018, which is also the request of the Llamkos Trade Union presented to Mayor Xhafer Tahiri, the Municipality of Vushtrri has decided that the former "Llamkos" galvanized sheet factory ", not to change its destination during the bankruptcy process and in all subsequent processes.
According to the press release from the Municipality of Vushtrri, it is said that the "Llamkos" factory has been and is a very important economic asset not only for the well-being of the workers' families and the city of Vushtrri, but also for the economy of Kosovo.
"Therefore, all interested parties are informed that despite the bankruptcy process that this factory is going through, the Municipality, based on its powers, will never allow the destination of this factory to be changed and turned into construction land or for any purpose other than for its original purpose", the announcement states.
This notice, says the Municipality, is issued to all parties interested in this economic asset and is intended to protect the workers and economic development assets of the Municipality.
