A day ago, the Vetëvendosje Movement in the capital stated that the Ministry of Finance had completed the transfer.

On Thursday, November 27, through an extraordinary meeting, the way was opened for the transfer of own funds from 2024 to 2025, amounting to 28 million euros.

38 assembly members voted in favor and one abstained.

Regarding the same funds, the Mayor of Pristina, Përparim Rama, said at the meeting that he expects the Ministry of Finance to transfer the funds that same day.

This will pave the way for the payment of outstanding invoices from the Municipality of Prishtina and the end of the strike by Urban Traffic. Public transport operators have been protesting for several days now due to debts from the municipality. The municipality blamed the Ministry of Finance for the blockage.
