The Municipality of Peja had planned to send the final draft of the Municipal Development Plan (MDP) to public discussion during the month of May, after it was approved at the penultimate meeting of the Municipal Assembly at the end of April. But this plan failed.
The interministerial commission has returned this draft document to the municipality, which was prepared by the town planners of the municipality and with the support of experts from the German organization "GIZ", which defines the development directions of the municipality of Peja for the period 2019 - 2027. It was approved in the April session in the Municipal Assembly, despite the lack of confirmation from the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning (MESP), Koha Ditore writes today.
However, the Municipality, in accordance with the MESP, had brought the draft of the MDP to the Assembly for discussion and approval, although that document, even though it was unanimously approved in the Assembly, even by the opposition, LDK and PDK, has not been able to it is sent to public discussion without confirmation and the answers of the MESP.
Last week, the Department of Urbanism received the answers from the Ministry, which already prohibit the Municipality from sending the MDP to public discussion, due to the identified deficiencies.
