Lawyer Arianit Koci has announced that he is in Belgrade, in the capacity of legal defense attorney for Mit'hat Lozhani, who has been arrested by Serbian police on charges of war crimes.
Koci announced that information has been received about inappropriate physical treatment, continuous interrogation and pressure exerted on Lozhani within detention.

Koci also requested clarifications regarding the manner and conditions of interrogation, as well as concrete measures to guarantee the physical and psychological safety of the arrested person, including his separation from other prisoners if there is a security risk.
"The authorities holding him in custody bear full responsibility for his life and health. Any deviation from standards violates Article 3 of the European Convention on Human Rights, which prohibits inhuman or degrading treatment. Therefore, I demand transparency and serious international monitoring," Koci wrote on Facebook.
He has called for transparency and serious international monitoring of the case, emphasizing that Mit'hat Lozhani enjoys the presumption of innocence and that this must be respected at every stage of the procedure.
Koci also called on the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo to address this issue urgently, describing the security of Kosovo citizens abroad as a constitutional obligation.
"No citizen of Kosovo dares to be left unprotected," he stressed.
Koci further called on Kosovo citizens, especially those who were members of the KLA or security structures, to avoid transiting through Serbia until there is legal and physical security.
