Deputetja e Lidhjes Demokratike të Kosovës (LDK), Doarsa Kica - Xhelili, ka folur para mbledhjes së grupit parlamentar të kësaj partie, ku pritet të diskutohet edhe çështja e caktimit të seancës së re për zgjedhjen e presidentit të Kosovës.
Kica-Xhelili ka thënë se situata sa i përket caktimit të seancës së re është komplikuar, duke theksuar se më herët ishte pranuar një afat fleksibil për shkak të paqartësive të krijuara nga vendimi i Gjykatës Kushtetuese. Ajo ka thënë se për të nuk ka hapësirë të marrë pjesë në një seancë që sipas saj ka kaluar çdo afat kushtetues.
"Now the issue of scheduling a new session is very complicated, because you have to bear in mind that despite the constitutional deadline having passed in August, we had agreed to consider a new deadline for the sake of the uncertainties that the Constitutional Court's decision had left. Those uncertainties had to do with the lack of legal consequences and with the fact that the Court had assessed that in the name of the establishment and functioning of institutions it allows for some, let's say, improvisations, because after all, this Pandora's box from the Constitutional Court has been opened by past decisions. For the sake of all this, we decided to accept the idea of treating this deadline flexibly, but not of a deadline after the deadline," she said.
Speaking about the acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, Kica Xhelili criticized the setting of a new deadline beyond the previously set deadline.
“Çdo afat sot po tejkalon një nuancë të mungesës së plotë të seriozitetit nga vetë zoti Kurti. Natyrisht unë po flas për veten, mendoj që fakti që ka caktuar një afat të ri përtej afatit që ai vetë ka determinuar tregon sa i pa vendosur ka qenë vetë ai për kandidimin e Bekim Sejdiut, sepse po ta kishte seriozisht kandidaturën, së paku më e pakta që do ta bënte ishte që të caktonte një seancë për brenda afatit që e kishte dhënë vetë. Kështu që për mua kjo vetëm flet për mungesën e seriozitetit dhe mungesën e qëllimit real dhe të sinqertë të tij për të zgjedhur vërtetë presidentin e Republikës së Kosovës”, tha ajo.
The LDK MP said that, from her professional perspective, she does not see it as reasonable to participate in a session that, according to her, has exceeded the constitutional deadlines.
"I believe that there is no room for me as Doars, with all my legal knowledge, to participate in a session that has exceeded every constitutional deadline. I am very willing and very open to hearing the assessment of the parliamentary group. I want to see their reading of this issue. I have my own reading that was created for me at the moment when this additional two-three days has been exceeded and I think that if at any moment there is an awareness that further experimentation with constitutional deadlines can be created, this should be concluded now. But Doars, as always, regardless of the opinions he has had, has always been very open-minded in relation to the opinions of his colleagues. But in my professional opinion, a fairly objective impossibility has been created for me to participate in the next session," she said.
