The Kosovo Energy Corporation has announced that due to a technical defect identified in Unit A3 and taking into account further damage to the equipment, a controlled shutdown of the unit has been carried out.
It is reported that the ban was taken as a preventive measure, with the aim of maintaining the technical condition of the equipment and creating safe conditions for intervention and repair of the defect.
"Professional teams are handling the situation and Unit A3 will return to operation after completing the necessary interventions and verifying safe working conditions," the announcement states.
