The situation of drug supply in SHSKUK is alarming. In each clinic, a large part of the drugs is missing. On Thursday, many citizens appealed to KOĖA with complaints about the lack of medicines in the various clinics. A citizen has sent evidence that every day he buys drugs worth 90 euros for a sick family member. Among other things, SHSKUK does not have at least 15 types of drugs for the treatment of cancer.
The increase in the budget for drugs in 2022 did not solve the problem of their supply.
In 2022, about 30 million euros were allocated only for the Essential List. Throughout the year there was a shortage of medicines.
But for two weeks now, the shortages are very big.
SHSKUK, as the most important institution in the country, has started January with basic shortages of medicines from the Essential List. Only on Thursday, a large number of patients contacted KOHEN and confessed what they are facing in this institution. The main one is the lack of medicines. The list they have described is very long. Among them are: B-Complex ampoule; Ampoule Bisolvon; Aspirin tablets; Sol. Nutriflex; Sol. NaCl 100 ml; Cellcept; Infleximab; Nivolumab; Albumin.
KOHA contacted the MoH and SHSKUK, but they did not respond.

Citizens have evidence of how expensive their treatment is at KKUK due to the lack of medicines.
The family member of a patient, who contacted KOHEN, said that the daily expenses for medicines alone are about 90 euros. Every day this family spends this amount of money because SHSKUK is failing to regulate the supply.
What this family member says is evidenced by the document issued to him by the KKUK, which describes the missing drugs, as well as the invoice from the private pharmacy. Both letters are dated January 4, 2023.
On Thursday KOHA also stayed near the Oncology Clinic.
The health staff and the patients have confessed about the numerous absences.
Due to the condition of these patients, their complaints are not being published. However, the number of drugs that have been said to be missing is large.
According to them, drugs that are part of immunotherapy are missing, such as: Nivolumab e Keytruda. The price of both starts from more than 1 thousand euros.
