The doctor from Vitia, Fadil Zuka, has died. The news of his death was given by his family members. The Chamber of Doctors of Kosovo has announced that Zuka is the first doctor in Kosovo to die as a result of COVID-19.
"Dr. Zuka belonged to the generation of doctors who were persecuted by the Serbian regime and had made many sacrifices to serve the Albanian population since the 90s. In the most difficult times, he served in the Outpatient Clinic of the Humanitarian Association 'Mother Teresa' in Viti, then in Pozheran", it is written in the OMK communique.
The deceased was infected with Covid-19. According to the information, he also suffered from diabetes.
Local media announce that Zuka, during the 90s, as part of the health system within the "Mother Teresa" Association, also worked in Pozheran.
The deceased was distinguished for his humanity and as an exemplary worker he left impressions and memories on all the citizens of Vitias.
