The candidate for MP of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Smajl Latifi, has leveled accusations against the Kurti Government on the issue of agricultural subsidies for 2024.
On the show "Elections in Time" on Wednesday, Latifi said that the Government has not prioritized the budget, while adding that it has not even paid the damages for 2023.
"You are thieves. Has it given subsidies for 2024? It hasn't given them yet. After 10 months of application, it still hasn't been given and these are open manipulators who lie all day and haven't given all the subsidies yet. The next question is why haven't the damages been paid for 2023? These (Government) only have techniques with pledges, not with assistance. You are big thieves. After 10 months, don't finish the subsidies, it only happened to you, they have been delayed even before. With the opening of a call for grants on December 27, 2024, what does this mean? This means that you haven't used the 24 million. You don't invest the budget for agriculture, you don't prioritize agriculture, you have harmed farmers," Latifi said.
