At the 289th meeting of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (KPK), on Monday, the resignation from the position of prosecutor of Jeton Koca, prosecutor at the Basic Prosecution Office in Pristina, was approved.
Previously, Koca had notified the KPK of his resignation from the position of prosecutor, for personal reasons, without providing additional details, "Oath for Justice" reported.
Regarding this, member Elza Bajrami-Kastrati said that the position of prosecutor is not a job, but a duty that requires great responsibility and dedication.
Bajrami-Kastrati also added that resigning without explaining the reasons is not okay.
"Resignation in this form is not okay,... the reasons for the resignation are not known," said Bajrami-Kastrati.
