Democratic Party of Kosovo candidate for MP, Naim Ismajli, has criticized the Vetëvendosje Movement for spending grant money on advertising while in power.
He added in the "Elections in TIME" debate that the Government has made a dubious contract, in violation of the law. According to him, it has not done anything for local producers or the agricultural sector.
"You have a dubious contract with GIZ, where you allocated 10 million euros to GIZ, 50% of which goes for consultancy and the budget is mostly taken from grants. Instead of farmers having that money, you took it from the grant. You have violated the law and made a non-profit agreement, supposedly that GIZ will participate with 50%, but that the GIZ program has ended in the previous period when you made the request. This shows that 4 years have been unsuccessful, without a plan and yet you have entered into a campaign without a program. You are spending the funds on advertising, on study visits, you reward people who are on the commission and take them to fairs instead of taking producers to fairs," Ismajli said.
