The Central Labor Inspectorate has stopped work at 12 workplaces in the municipalities of Skenderaj, Mitrovica, Vushtrri, Prizren and Ferizaj.
During the inspections, serious violations of legal provisions were found, which posed a serious risk to the life and health of workers, the Inspectorate announced. For this reason, the IQP has ordered the immediate cessation of work at 12 workplaces, until all identified irregularities are eliminated and safe working conditions are created.
"These measures aim to prevent accidents in the workplace and guarantee the safety of workers. The resumption of work will be allowed only after inspectors determine that all legal requirements and safety standards have been met," the announcement states.
