The National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo has announced that the water from Badovci Lake cannot yet be used for drinking.
In the announcement issued by IKSHPK, it is stated that the monitoring of the drinking water of the Regional Waterworks KRU "Prishtina" shows that the manganese values are still high.
"The results from the analyzes of Sunday (03. 11. 2024) show that the manganese values are: The lowest 0.151 mg/l (Qendresa neighborhood) to the highest: 0.467 mg/L (Rr. Hyzri Talla - Kodra of the Sun). Based on the data as above, the water in the entire supply area from Lake Badovci still cannot be used for drinking," the announcement states.
IKSHPK in cooperation with Regional Waterworks KRU "Prishtina" will continue regular water monitoring.
