NIPHK confirms: Badoc water is safe to drink

The National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo has announced that the water of Lake Badoc is safe for drinking.

In a post on Facebook, the National Institute for Water Resources and Water Resources (NIHPK) announced that recent monitoring of drinking water quality in the PR03 supply area from the Badoc Waterworks has observed a significant decrease in turbidity values.

"Laboratory analyses conducted over the last three days at the IKSHKP Laboratory show that turbidity values ​​and all other parameters (bacteriological and physico-chemical) are within the criteria set by Administrative Instruction (AI) no. 10/2021 - 'Quality of water intended for human consumption'", the announcement states.

According to the National Institute for Public Health, based on these laboratory results, the water in the supply area from Lake Badoc is safe for drinking.
