The Acting Director General of RTK, Hysen Hundozi, has announced that a legal modality has been reached that enables the Government's assistance to RTK until the constitution of the Assembly.
He said that he has submitted an official loan request to the Ministry of Finance and that it is being treated as a priority.
"During this period, numerous alternatives have been considered, until we have jointly reached a legal modality that enables the Government's assistance to RTK until the constitution of the Assembly. Our official request for a loan has been submitted to the Ministry of Finance and it is being treated with priority. We expect it to be realized very soon, so that we can continue our work normally," Hundozi wrote on Facebook.
Public broadcaster employees have been left without salaries, as the budget for the second half of the year has not been reallocated due to the lack of a constitution for the Assembly. Workers have protested and threatened to strike and not report on events if action is not taken quickly.
