Hoti announces an emergency fund to help those affected by the floods

Acting Prime Minister, Avdullah Hoti, has said that the emergency fund will be deepened to help the families affected by the recent floods in Kosovo.

"I am following the situation with the floods, a really serious situation, it is good that we have not had any victims, a lot of damage has been caused. We are taking care to intervene where the situation is most urgent. We will establish an emergency fund to help families whose homes have been damaged and are in poor condition. With the local headquarters, we will assess the damage and how to help them", said Hoti during the visit to the village of Dobroshec.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Defense, Anton Quni, announced the actions of the Kosovo Security Force to evacuate the residents.

"The first commitment took place in the region of Gjakova where several families were evacuated and we had other commitments in the region of Fushë Kosova, Guri i Zi (municipality of Klina, we helped the Pulmonology Clinic, the Forensic Center and a team is in the region of Vushtrri", he said.
