The acting Prime Minister of Kosovo, Avdullah Hoti, in a press conference said that he will accept the decision of the Constitutional Court, which declared the Hoti Government unconstitutional.

"The decision of the Constitutional Court was made public. I fully accept it and will respect it without any question. I will not release statements about this decision of the Constitutional Court. I am glad that the Constitutionalist clarified it. The government remains in office until a new government is elected. We will continue our work. It is a constitutional obligation to follow the procedures for announcing elections. We will fulfill our obligations. I assure our citizens and partners, businesses, we will be at the top of our duties, especially with the management of the situation with the pandemic", said Hoti.

Hoti has also called not to dissolve the Assembly without voting the Budget for 2021.

"We have important work ahead of us, including the budget. I call for the Assembly not to dissolve without voting on the budget for 2021. A part of the budget is based on several international agreements. Since the Assembly approves the budget and these international agreements. We will continue the work according to the plan, as the government in office. We will implement the economic recovery package and in January, we expect to continue the package for 2021. All ministries will continue working according to the state agenda, no work will be left behind", said Hoti.

Hoti also said that there will be consultations within the Democratic League to come up with the name of a presidential candidate.
