Support for the vetting process was provided by representatives of the parties of the non-majority non-Serb communities, which have six deputies in the Assembly of Kosovo.
According to Deputy Prime Minister Emilija Rexhepi, the Egyptian party IRDK, the Turkish party KDTP, the Roma party LPRK and the PAI of the Ashkali community have given unreserved support.
She said that the meetings with the executive should be regular, whenever there are issues of national importance.
"We have regular meetings with the prime minister for all that is a national issue. Now there was also the Minister of Justice, Albulena Haxhiu, with the deputy minister. She explained all the procedures of Venice, how it should go to the Assembly, to the debate and we all agreed. The Minister of Justice should talk to the deputies and tell them how the work is, how she planned it and how the whole concept is, and then the deputies will decide," she said.
Among the Albanian parties, the LDK has rejected the invitation for consultations about the justice reform.
According to the Minister of Justice, Albulena Haxhiu, they will be invited again.
The representatives of the Serbian List and other parties, who did not participate in today's meeting, will also receive an invitation.
Haxhiu has announced that the Government is at the end of the process for drafting constitutional amendments, therefore he has warned of frequent meetings with all political entities.
"We must be together, we must be unified, therefore since we are at the end of our work, the draft constitutional amendments, the law on the verification of the integrity of the justice system, we believe that continuous meetings are now needed. We plan to have other invitations for other parties as well, since the LDK has said that we will discuss this in the Assembly. Likewise, the Serbian List has not expressed its will to meet us. We are ready to invite them again. Let's talk in the Assembly of the Republic and together find a solution on how we should proceed," said the Minister of Justice.
The Serbian List with a parliamentary group of 11 MPs, Romani Iniciyativa, which has one MP without a parliamentary group, and the Bosnian parties SDU and Vakat, which have one MP each, have not responded to TIME's questions regarding the reasons for their non-participation in the meetings of the heads of Government regarding the reform in justice.
The Democratic League, whose parliamentary group has 15 deputies, has rejected Kurti's invitation, saying that the major justice reforms should be discussed in the Assembly, when they come to the session.
Two-thirds of the votes of the deputies are necessary for the amendment of the Constitution.
