For me it is very paradoxical that he is sentenced to life imprisonment in the first degree, then in the second degree it is reduced to 35 years, and in the third degree he is released. It's disturbing. This case should be investigated through the relevant mechanisms to see who failed, the first degree or the third degree? Therefore, according to the communications with the justice institutions, they have said that they will deal with it as soon as this judgment becomes public", she said.

On June 23, 2022, the Basic Court in Ferizaj, in a retrial, sentenced Naser Pajazita, the accused for Donjeta's murder, to life imprisonment.

Against this judgment, Pajazitaj's defenders filed an appeal in the Court of Appeal, claiming that there is an essential violation, wrong certification of the factual situation and the decision on the punishment.

On April 6 of this year, the Supreme Court decided to acquit Naser Pajazitaj of the charges.

According to the indictment filed on June 8, 2017, Naser Pajazitaj was accused that on November 9, 2015, in the mountains of Strellci, Deçan Municipality, in the place called "Kroni i Lajthişe", the defendant, even though he had previously been convicted of murder, intentionally and with a weapon in a cruel way deprived the victim Donjeta Pajazitaj from the same village of her life.
