Acting President Albulena Haxhiu decreed several laws on Friday. She described the decreed laws as "important for the citizens and the Republic."
One of them is the agreement on Kosovo's membership in the Peace Board. While others include those on healthcare, financial agreements with the EU, etc.

I have also decreed the law on the ratification of the agreement on the membership of the Republic of Kosovo in the Peace Board, the law on the Mediterranean Games Prishtina 2030, as well as the laws related to financial agreements with the European Union and the French Development Agency," Haxhiu announced on Facebook.
Kosovo and Albania are the only countries from the Western Balkans region that have joined the Peace Board, while from EU countries, only Hungary and Bulgaria.
This mechanism was formed with the aim of overseeing the implementation of peace plans in conflict zones, with an initial focus on the Gaza Strip and its reconstruction. The board was established and will be chaired by US President Donald Trump.
