Sokol Havolli from the Democratic League of Kosovo has said that regarding the president, the LDK will not have a vote for the re-election of Vjosa Osmani.
"The election of the president requires political consensus. Osmani had the support of LDK 5 years ago, with the general political agreement that she would represent unity, but we know that she has represented the interests of LVV more, and in the circumstances we are in, we do not feel any obligation to vote... If VV wants to take Kosovo to the elections once again for Vjosa Osmani's seat, it is not the responsibility of LDK, it is the responsibility of VV," he said.
Havolli emphasized that his party did not expect the results of the December 28 elections, but that it did not lose its ambition to return as the first.
"LDK never loses its ambition to return as the leading party in the country and works towards this. It works with a serious program," he said.
After the announcement by LDK leader Lumir Abdixhiku that he would offer his resignation, Havolli emphasized that he should not leave this position.
Havolli added on the "Interaktiv" show that he is in political rivalry with PDK and LVV and that LDK does not cooperate with them.
