The leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, today paid a rare visit to the Minister of Defense, Armend Mehaj, from where he said that "the army and the security of the country unite us".
Through an announcement on Facebook, Haradinaj added that he thanked the minister, the personnel of the Ministry and the Kosovo military for their service.
"Today I visited the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kosovo. I talked with Minister Mehaj about developments in the Army and national security issues. I thanked the minister, all the personnel of the Ministry and the Kosovo military for their service. The army and the security of the country unite us", wrote Haradinaj on Facebook.
The head of AAK had expressed the idea earlier to open a fund for the strengthening of the Kosovo Army, which would be created by law and would enable every Albanian to offer Kosovo the ability to defend itself. He had criticized the allocation of 100 million euros from the Kosovo budget for the Kosovo Security Force, since according to Haradinaj, they were not enough.
