Haradinaj boasts of 'progress' in strengthening security and strengthening the Prosecutor's Office and the Courts, but the IT said that Kosovo has deteriorated

Acting Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj met with Deputy Assistant Secretary of State from the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs Jorgan K. Andrews.

Haradinaj said that he talked with him about Kosovo's partnership with the USA, 'in the fight against drug trafficking, organized crime and corruption'.

Haradinaj says that "Kosovo has made progress in strengthening security", in particular, says Haradinaj, "it has strengthened the Police, the Prosecutor's Office and the Courts". But nevertheless, the report of International organization Transparency International, ranks Kosovo in 101st place.

This result means that Kosovo has marked a deterioration in the fight against corruption in the previous year, when it was 93rd.

"I emphasized that Kosovo has made significant progress in strengthening the security sector, especially by strengthening the Police, the Prosecutor's Office and the Courts, and is a worthy partner for global operations in this field.
