The former Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, has described Prime Minister Albin Kurti as a "political amateur", saying that he is trying to hide the shame he committed during governance and during the leadership of the dialogue.
Haradinaj has stated for EO that Kurti's behavior towards internationals is frivolous, stressing that the Association of municipalities with a Serbian majority deserves to be treated seriously.
"... More or less, this is not serious behavior of his, like that expression 'nor asi nor ksi'. It is not like that, unfortunately the government and the prime minister have accepted it. It is true that this draft is not good, so the draft that we have today proposed by the EU is not good. He deserves serious treatment by the Constitutional Court. We are in elections and they want to hide what they have done, the mistakes they have made that led the dialogue. America has begged Konjufca and Kurti for a long time, but they have not given them a proposal," stated Haradinaj.
The Chairman of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) has added that Kurti has no strategy in the dialogue process with Serbia, and according to him, he has forgotten the importance of NATO.
"Unfortunately, now we have proposals from the EU, they want to hide this fault, it's really their fault. Kurti has not understood, he has no strategy of his own, he is not a strategist, he is seen as an amateur in politics. He overestimated this daily victory because of the few votes, he forgot how important NATO is, what it would mean for Kosovo if we joined NATO. The issue of security and law and order in all of Kosovo and in the north would be solved, we would make a big economic and political all-round turn. All these choices of his have caused many consequences, including sanctions", said Haradinaj.
A week ago, Haradinaj had accused Kurti of espionage and treason against Kosovo.
