The chairman of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, has repeated the promise of a 50 percent salary increase for education workers at all levels.
In a meeting held on Wednesday with the delegation of the United Union of Education, Science and Culture, while mentioning the election program, Haradinaj said that the Alliance's priority will be to increase the budget for education by 6 percent.
"In a meeting with the SBASHK delegation, headed by Mr. Rrahman Jasharaj, I was informed about the challenges facing teachers and education in general. Also, I shared with them the 14 priorities in the field of education that will be included in the 2025-2029 election program of AAK. I confirmed our goal of increasing salaries for education workers at all levels by 50% and raising the budget for education by 6%. Education will be a priority of the Alliance", wrote Haradinaj on Facebook.
Last month, AAK promised an increase in salaries and improvement of the physical infrastructure, as well as an increase in the budget for this area.
