Haradinaj responds to the opposition for the request for resignation after the visa failure

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, has responded to the demands of the opposition for his resignation after the failure of visa liberalization in 2018.

In a press conference after the government meeting, Haradinaj said that "the idea that the government of Kosovo resigns due to delays from the European Union is absurd".

"Failure is not the definition that qualifies the condition. It is unfinished. Kosovo's part has been fulfilled, that is, the part of one party. Our work is done. There is still some work left by the EU. If the opposition thinks that the government should go because of the delay of the EU, we can go, but it looks like a discrepancy", said Haradinaj.

Speaking about the resolution proposed by the PSD to be included in the dialogue team with Serbia, Haradinaj said that this does not mean an agreement on governance.

He criticized the opposition for "trying not to leave room for the decision on the 100 percent tax on Serbian goods".
