Xhavit Haliti testified today at the Court of Appeal in Brussels regarding the murder of prominent national activist Enver Hadri.
Haliti wrote on Facebook that he believes that Bozhidar Spasic, Vesel Vukotić and Andrija Drašković's life imprisonment will be confirmed.
"Based on the questions and the testimony given, I believe that Božidar Spasić, Vesel Vukotic and Andrija Drašković will receive their life sentences. It is suspected that the same order-givers behind the murder of Enver Hadri were also involved in the UDB assassination attempt on me in Switzerland in 1990," Haliti wrote.
Hadri was killed by a bullet in the head on February 25, 1990 in Saint-Gilles, Belgium while he was waiting at a traffic light by car. He had with him the list of 32 Albanians killed in Kosovo by Serbia, which he would deliver the next day to the Human Rights Commission in the European Parliament.
On January 11, the retrial of the case against Božidar Spasić, Vesel Vukotivć and Andrija Drašković, who were sentenced in absentia to life imprisonment in 2016, began.
