Përparim Gruda, a member of parliament from the Democratic Party of Kosovo, said that it would be absurd if the Constitutional Court were asked to interpret the interpretation it had previously made on the issue of the constitutive session of the Assembly.
"We have been an institutional opposition for years, we have won cases in Court, the constitution case has gone to Court. We cannot go once again to interpret the interpretation. It is absurd that it never ends. No European constitution defines consequences for non-constitution. The German, French, and Italian constitutions define the deadline for constitution. The German one has the same 30 days, it does not say what the consequences are," said Gruda from the Assembly hall, where the deputies of the PDK and the Alliance are standing, who are demanding the holding of the constitutive session of the 11th legislature.
Gruda said that chairman Avni Dehari's statement that no consequences are foreseen for non-constitutionality is the same as "he wasn't caught stealing, but he was caught stealing."
