Greece has taken new measures regarding the prevention of the spread of COVID-19, measures which directly affect Albanians as well.
This comes a day after an Albanian citizen with Greek citizenship entered through the border line of Kakavija in a serious state of health affected by COVID, where he was hospitalized in Ioannina.
For this, from August 16, Greece will restore the 7-day quarantine for all Albanians who will pass through the border point of Kakavija, euronews informs.
Also, it is emphasized that from Wednesday, this border point on the Greek side will remain closed during the night, from 22:00 to 06:00.
Which means that during this time period it will not be possible to cross to Greece and all this is done in order for all Albanians to undergo health checks, including the COVID-19 test.
