The Ambassador of Serbia to the United States of America, Marko Djuric, has said that the time has passed "when politicians from Pristina and other parts had the monopoly of good relations with the USA and the European Union".
Commenting on the last meeting with the American president, Joseph Biden, Gjuric said that Serbia is satisfied in particular with the attention being paid to it by the high level in the USA, at a time when there is great pressure on the daily agenda of top- officials.
The Serbian ambassador in Washington said that he conveyed positive messages to Biden, which he considered important for strengthening interstate relations.
"Today, Serbia has something positive to present to its partners in the international community, and we are making the most of it. The growth of the Gross Domestic Product, the responsible attitude towards the citizens and the region, the continuous peaceful and responsible policy speak best for us", said Gjuriq to "Telegraf.rs".
Gjuriqi has added that he has invited Biden to visit Belgrade, which would be the visit of an American president, for the first time since 1980, when Jimmy Carter visited Serbia.
